Went on day trip to Looe , Cornwall, it was a very good day, the driver was brilliant, very friendly, polite, helpful and with 1st class punctuality, my 3 friends and I would like to say thanks.

Helped me out Would like to say a massive thank you from me and my daughter’s missed the last bus from cwmbran to brynmawr and asked the bus driver on bleanavon bus about buses to brynmawr there where no more so we got on bleanavon bus was going to try and get a lift from bleanavon but the driver boss said he could take us to brynmawr bus station I really appreciate it and am very grateful for your kindness thanks

Great trip to Gloucester yesterday – the bus arrived on time and was even decorated for Christmas! Nick was a very professional, friendly driver who got us there and back safely and even gave us a little toot ‘goodbye’ as we got off the bus! Excellent value for money and wouldn’t hesitate to book another trip with you!

Their days out are one of the highlights of my year. Phil Anslow’s local bus services – in particular the X1 are first class, but even better are their days out. Early in the year the programme of dates and destinations comes out, and with pen poised I go through it to select possible venues to book. I have never been disappointed, the value for money is incredible,and with a little planning it’s amazing how much you can cram into the time available.

Did the Harry Potter Studio Tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. The driver, Terry was friendly and professional; a real credit to the company. Will definitely be booking more day trips with you.

We’ve been using Phil Anslow for our Run Diva Run race events. The ladies in the office are helpful, the drivers are polite & really helpful in dropping us off and picking us up. We always get a good price too. I’ve just booked another two coaches for events & will continue to use them. Thanks everyone. Top service.

Went on the Dartmouth trip on 2nd August, this would be our third trip. On all trips the driver was always joking, polite, happy and helpful, the bus was excellent service throughout. Will book future trips and recommend. J & A Sambells.

Hired a 53 seater with a driver and the service was excellent, could not fault the cleanliness and quality of the vehicle, definitely would use the company again for my coach hire or day trips. HIGHY RECOMMEND

Went on a day trip to Stratford upon avon yesterday and it was brilliant from start to finish. And a special shout out to Eddie the driver who was just perfect. He was friendly and informative and just a genuine nice guy. He made the trip extra special and nothing was too much bother. Top marks for a fantastic memorable day out 🙂

Went on my first trip with this company yesterday and it was brilliant! I highly recommend this company to anyone….. They were on time, I didn’t feel like I was being rushed and the drivers were all fab…cant wait to book again �

Highest Standards I’ve used this company multiple times for private coach hire. The drivers have always been polite and well dressed.

The use of hands free devices has always been well received as it has allowed them to have the most up to date travel information like road closures etc so that the most time efficient journey could be achieved. This is obviously a preferred method rather than the drivers having to use their phones whilst driving and being distracted from their jobs.

One of our party also left their wallet on the coach and we were able to contact the driver to get it back before he got back to the garage.

I would recommend this company. They have always gone above and beyond and their spelling is immaculate.

Westen Air show 18th June 2016. Father’s Day present. The trip to Westen Air show was a present for Fathers day and the trip was on 18/6/16 the next day we were going on holiday to Tenby so this is why this review is late. We were to be picked up on Newport Road Pontymister Risca it’s the second pick up in Risca, we were on the bus stop (which right outside our house) and as I have trouble walking my daughter thought the pick up point was perfect, we wait for 1/2 hour no bus and we were on the bus stop well in advance, John rang the company and a very nice gentleman said he would find out what had happened and would ring us back, he rang rang back and said the bus driver of the feeder bus had been up and down a few times we were not on the bus stop, well we were, now it was coming up to an hour late, he said stay where are and the feeder bus would come back which it did, straight away the rude driver said it was not his fault this stop was known as Pontymister not Risca ( please look on a map Pontymister does not appear on any map, yes it’s known as John’s Garage Newport road Pontymister Risca but he never even came down to the end of Newport road where we were now waiting an hour, we got to Forge Lane Bassaleg where the coach was waiting and we thought now we’ll get it in the neck but everybody was were very nice about it including the coach bus driver he apologised about the feeder driver and said just relax and enjoy the trip, we had smashing seats, the only thing was that the people on the feeder bus said he did come down Newport, but he certainly didn’t come down to us. The rest of the trip was fantastic the driver gave us all an extra hour at Westen and said that the owner would be getting in touch with us ,up to now he as not, but we have been a away for 2 weeks. I think Phil Anslow coaches should alter the name of the stop and state that it’s Newport road Pontymister Risca as Risca and Pontymister are all on Newport Road. I doubt this little hiccup will not happen again, as far as Phil Anslow Coach company I think it’s wonderful, very caring staff (except one) and no doubt we be travelling with them again no problem.

No.69 Tintern Bus trip Saturday 9th September. I would like to thank your amazing bus driver of the number 69 service on Saturday 9th September who spotted me waving him down in a crowd of walkers at the end of an exhausting six-mile walk in all that heat. He stopped at the bus stop a few hundred yards away, and waited for us to board the bus to get back to our car.
Many thanks for your kindness and excellent service.

Last Saturday was our second trip with this company. We had a great day. Driver was very pleasant and helpful, please pass on our appreciation to him. (4th December Worcester Markets). The coach was clean and an excellent standard. Also they are very punctual and organised. Thank you �

Best ever day trip and cheap worth it

had a 29 seater from malpas to st fagons for my mother and baby group . Bus was on time comfortable and the driver was lovely. Definately recommend and was the cheapest around . thankyou so much

Brilliant company with absolutely lovely and friendly drivers who make days out thoroughly enjoyable. Can’t recommend them enough. Collection point for me is Magor Services and you can pay to leave your car if travelling from Chepstow for example. Really excellent, give them a try!
